Adam Paulden

Adam is a producer of commercial entertainment for the stage and screen. He is currently producing a UK and worldwide tour of The Wedding Singer, the musical based on the smash-hit Adam Sandler movie. He is also producing the world premiere play adaptation of the award-winning novel (and subsequent Oscar-winning film) The Last King of Scotland. In 2018/19, Adam will produce a UK and worldwide tour of the Broadway hit musical, Rock of Ages.

Adam was previously the General Manager for Kenny Wax Ltd for seven years, overseeing the Olivier award-winning productions of Top Hat and The Play That Goes Wrong. He graduated with an English Studies degree from the University of Nottingham and worked for a short stint at Company Pictures on Channel 4’s Skins and in script acquisition at Paramount Pictures. Adam was also an Actor on BBC Radio 4 and 5 plays from his early teens.

Adam has also produced many cabarets, reviews and concerts, most notably Lily Atkinson in Concert (St. James Theatre Studio) Ultimate Elton and the Rocket Band (Leicester Square Theatre and India Tour); Mash-Up (two productions at the Leicester Square Theatre); Plug in the Lead (Leicester Square Theatre); Collaborations (St. James Studio); In Town With Motown (Freedom), Sons of Pitches (Freedom) and NEXT (Battersea Barge).

Adam has produced two TV comedy pilots, one of which was optioned by Vera Productions. He also speaks at various seminars on the business of producing, most recently for Casting Call Pro at BAFTA.
