Sarah trained at the City University and The Guildhall School of Music.

She works as an Orchestrator, Musical Supervisor, and Accompanist.

Recent credits as Orchestrator, Musical Supervisor: The Hired Man: NYMT St James Theatre; Fiddler on the Roof: 2014 UK Tour; The A to Z of Mrs P: Southward Playhouse; Jungle Book: Glasgow Citizens Theatre; Dear World: Charing Cross Theatre; Chess: UK Tour and Toronto (Winner of 2010 Touring Whatsonstage Aware); Copacabana, Spend Spend Spend (Winner of 2009 Regional Theatre Award for Best Musical); Sunset Boulevard (4 Olivier Nominations and a Transfer to The Comedy Theatre West End), Martin Guerre; Hot Mikado (Both nominated for Regional Theatre Awards for Best Musical): all at The Watermill Theatre.

In 2006 she won a Tony and Drama Desk Award for her Orchestrations on Sweeney Todd: Eugene O’Neill Theatre, via The Watermill Theatre and Trafalgar Studios.
